To celebrate Trustee Week, SWALLOW, the local charity supporting teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, would like to send a huge thank you to all of the Trustees that give their time and knowledge to support the charity.

Chris Negus, Trustee of SWALLOW says: “I really enjoy coming into SWALLOW to see everyone, particularly attending the members’ committee meetings - I like listening to their feedback. I also love popping into the SWALLOW café with my friends and family.

“You get a lot of satisfaction from being a Trustee. What I find so good about this charity is that the money is spent very wisely.”

SWALLOW is currently looking for a new Honorary Treasurer to join its Trustee board. SWALLOW would love to hear from you if you have knowledge of financial accounting and reporting procedures, strategic financial planning skills and a desire to improve the lives of local people with learning disabilities.
