SWALLOW, the local charity supporting teenagers and adults with learning disabilities, held its Annual Evaluation Day on Monday, 4th February at the Amerdown Centre.

The day was a great success. SWALLOW members and their parents and carers were able to feedback their thoughts and feelings about what the charity does, and what more it could do to support local people.

Over ninety people, including members, families, staff and Trustees, worked together along a theme of growing flowers in the SWALLOW garden – the day was helped by the wonderfully peaceful surroundings of the Ammerdown Conference and Retreat Centre.

Bev Craney, SWALLOW Chief Executive, said: “This is a very important day each year for SWALLOW, where we take the ideas that our members give us of how they would like us to develop services, and we try to make their dreams become reality.”
