Radstock Town Council is keen to reach out to young people in the town as it moves forward with its Neighbourhood Plan and Climate Emergency work.
The Town Council would like to hear from young people concerned about the future of Radstock and are interested in their views. Councillors discussed the merits of meeting teens at the Youth Connect sessions held in the town.
Isolation was put forward as the biggest issue facing young people growing up in the area, particularly at the present time with pandemic disruption, with bus travel difficult in certain areas. Ward Councillor for Westfield and Radstock resident, Cllr Eleanor Jackson, said she would be championing the idea of a youth bus pass to make travel more affordable for young people.
