The issue, ‘Tackling Pests and how we manage Rats and Seagulls in Midsomer Norton’ will be the subject of a speaker evening tonight, Thursday, 23rd February at 7.30 p.m., in the Town Hall’s Assembly Room.
Whilst a talk on ‘Tackling Pests’ may not seem like everyone’s idea of a great night out, it is being organised by The Midsomer Norton Society in partnership with Midsomer Norton Town Council in response to questions and concerns raised by local residents.
As well as a representative from Bath and North East Somerset’s Environmental Protection team explaining their work, the aim is to see what we as local people can do to help by understanding the causes, and ensuring in the case of rats, that food sources are less available – from dropped food in the High Street to bird-table food and disposing of waste.
