A team of fundraisers are just £2,000 away from raising £10,000 for the Bristol Children’s Hospital’s Wallace and Gromit Grand Appeal, with support from local people at this weekend’s Temple Cloud Fun Day.
This will be the third year that the event has been held by Tasha and her family, to say thank you to the hospital for the care her nephew, Morgan, received after he contracted meningitis as a baby.
The Fun Day takes place this Saturday, 21st July from 12 noon until 8 p.m. at Temple Cloud Village Hall and football field. There will be a variety of attractions, including bouncy castle, helter skelter, street dance and tae kwon do displays – a fun dog show from 2 p.m., craft stalls, refreshments, raffle and all sorts of fundraising activities. There will also be Mexican and Vegan food this year, a hog roast, ice-cream and fresh doughnuts! What are you waiting for?
A local farmer has kindly let his field be used for parking, which is situated behind Goldney Close with a gate to the football field, which will be signposted on the day. For more details, visit the Temple Cloud Charity Fun Day 2018 Facebook page.
