Local residents are invited to attend the First Thursday’s Christmas Social event at Welton Rovers on Thursday, 1st December from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m.
Now in its fourth year, the Afternoon Social was created by the Midsomer Norton Community Trust in response to calls for a monthly social event throughout the year after the popularity of the Council’s annual Christmas event. This month, popular local entertainer, Terry Andrews, presents a fantastic afternoon of your favourite festive songs, as well as some bingo and a raffle, whist hot and cold refreshments are available from the bar.
“It is great to see such a fun and friendly crowd turning out each month to enjoy an afternoon of entertainment in the town. New faces are always welcomed and the
Christmas Party event offers the perfect opportunity to give it a go if you haven’t been before,” said Alex Davis, the Trust’s Manager. “The Social really is a great opportunity to have a laugh, make new friends and dance or foot tap the afternoon away!”
The Social is open to everybody in the area, and not just residents of Midsomer Norton. There is no event in January, but it will return again in February.
