Timsbury Fun Day on Saturday, 18th June has a fantastic line-up of attractions for all ages. The headline act is Ben Long, one of the country’s most experienced falconers, who will be giving two flying displays during the afternoon with a selection of birds.
There will also be lots of glamour this year, with shows from the award-winning
Stardust Majorettes and a Disney Princesses group. The girls of Avon Dance Academy will feature in two sessions and Timsbury Theatre Group also perform. Great live music has always been a feature of Timsbury Fun Days – this year’s bands are ‘Wish I Was Dave’ and ‘Phoenix Club’, with solo entertainer, Charlie Allen (‘I Love the 70s’, ‘Bjorn Again’) rounding the day off with his Glamstravagant show.
The very popular Laser Tag Arena will be returning, plus a bouncy castle, giant slide, quad bikes, teacup roundabout and more. The junior football tournament will have two pitches in action and there will be over twenty stalls on the field, classic cars and all the fun of the fair. Inside the Conygre Hall, there will be more stalls, an art exhibition with tea and cakes provided by Timsbury W.I. Timsbury Cricket Club will be opening their bar all day and running a BBQ. It all starts at 12 noon at Timsbury Rec – free entry and free car parking.
