Martin’s idea came as he wanted to show support for Ukraine, he was, however granted permission to site the sculpture at the location in Radstock. Martin is well known for his metalwork and his sculptures make regular appearances in and around the local area. They have included a ‘Nurse’, large red metal poppies and ‘Tommies’ for Remembrance.
