Last week’s Mystery Photograph proved popular with a lot of you reminiscing on old town Midsomer Norton - pictured here as the Midsomer Norton Brewery c 1890.

Lucy Tudor said it is the: “Midsomer Norton Brewery on the high street, now home to shops and a night club, it has been altered a good deal since those days.”

Well done to Paul Hancock, Mr Button, Martin Smith, Mr Swift, Dave Curtis.

Thank you to Terry Reakes, who told The Journal: “This week’s Mystery Photograph is of the old brewery, High Street Midsomer Norton. In the sixties it was dance hall, a magnet for teenagers for miles around. Happy days!”

Do you think you know where this week’s Mystery Photograph was taken? Perhaps you know some history behind the building or surrounding area.

Lucy Tudor, who supplied the photograph, said: “It would be interesting to know what readers know about those cottages- who lived there and when they were demolished.”
