The recent very successful Diesel Gala event at Midsomer Norton Station is unfortunately the last until further notice.

Trustees and Company Directors of the S&D Heritage Railway met through a conference call to decide what measures to take to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus Covid 19.

They agreed that all operations on the railway, including catering, retail and special events, should cease from now on. The situation will be monitored and information about any changes will be put on the website: https://www.sdjr.co.uk/home

Events Organizer, Zaida Haworth, said: “It is very sad that we cannot run our popular Easter trains and children’s Easter Egg hunt. But it must be the priority of the railway to keep visitors and volunteers safe at this difficult time. We will start putting on our popular events again as soon as possible.”
