The Chair of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Cllr Eleanor Jackson, recently joined the Mayor of Radstock, Cllr Rupert Bevan and Cllr Michael Evans, Mayor of Midsomer Norton, at the twentieth birthday celebration for the Friends of Radstock Museum.

Herself a trustee of the Museum for nearly four years, Cllr Jackson said: “I really appreciate how much the Friends do for the Museum. They put in a stupendous number of hours volunteering, both to run the café, the shop and so on, but also on curating exhibitions and preserving documents.

“Behind us is a fascinating display of Holcombe’s life, in the Somerset Villages exhibition, and I am very much looking forward to the Double Hills exhibition which will follow shortly.”
