An annual Line Dance event has raised £2,550 for local causes.
Krazy Angels Instructors, Sally and Fran, held their long-established annual afternoon charity fundraiser on Saturday, 4th May at Paulton Rovers Football Club.
This year’s appeal was divided between the campaign for Mitch Chalmers, who suffered a motorcycle accident a few years ago that left him paralysed from the waist down, to help raise £56,000 towards revolutionary Epidural Stimulation treatment to help him walk again, and in memory of a young lady, Jordonne Harris, aged 22 years, who sadly died of Cystic Fibrosis. Proceeds will go to the Jordonne Harris Cystic Fibrosis Fund.
The heavily subscribed event had well over 100 attendees and raised the fantastic total through the admission fee, sale of tea and cakes, raffle and charity auction.
Sally and Fran would like to thank all who attended for their support and to everyone who gave a small donation, and to local people and businesses who donated goods for the raffle and auction.
