Terry Williams will be leading his band Ambassadors of Jazz in what promises to be an amazing evening of popular music from the `Golden Era` of the 1920`s and on into the 1960`s as we remember the great bands of those decades. Leading the band on trombone will be local legend Terry Williams, born at Evercreech and with an enviable reputation of being on stage with Kenny Ball, Nat Gonella, Don Lusher, Digby Fairweather, Kenny Baker and none other than Pensford born and bred Acker Bilk and his Paramount Jazz Band. As if this was not enough Terry played trombone and managed the US 76th Army Band on their various UK tours.

On keyboard will be Colin Frechter an Internationally recognised composer and musical arranger. Colin has worked with, composed and arranged music for none other than West End theatre and TV star Elaine Paige both in this country and when Elaine was in the USA. As this was not enough, he has composed and written music for film scores.

`Reedsman` is Glastonbury resident Roger Bond playing clarinet and saxophone and he will be joined by Dave Martin on trumpet and vocals. Dave can often be found leading the celebrated South West based City Steam Jazz Band and he also has appeared with many of the top bands.

Double Bass man is Grant Rayner generally regarded as one of the best in the West Country and beyond. Completing the line up we have percussionist extraordinaire Andy Mayes who hails from Taunton although Andy has Camerton family connections with his ancestors living in the village several generations ago. Andy will be drumming and keeping the band `on beat`.

This will most certainly be a `foot tapping` night of light music to remember. The admission price includes the interval finger buffet for which St Peter`s Church has a reputation for quality homemade refreshments. Admission can be "on the door, on the night" although prior booking would be appreciated to aid refreshment arrangements.
