This Thursday, 26th November, Westfield Parish Council will be having an event to switch on the Christmas lights in the Parish.
The lights will be illuminated by children from Fosse Way School and Westfield Primary School. The event will begin at 6.30 p.m. at the living Christmas Tree at the junction of Elm Tree Avenue and Wells Road. The Rev. Jan Tate will be saying a few words and some carols will be performed by Midsomer Norton Silver Band and Westfield Ladies’ Choir.
Father Christmas will also be in attendance with small, complimentary presents for any children that would like to say hello. There will be free mince pies and mulled wine to keep you warm, along with non-alcoholic drinks. All Westfield residents welcome!
