Who Let The Dads Out? is a Saturday play session for dads and their children which started in March this year. We meet between 10 a.m.

and 1 p.m. on the first Saturday of the month at Radstock’s Bright Start Children’s Centre.

Each session is made up of well equipped and supervised indoor and outdoor play areas, enabling dads to get down with their kids. We offer many creative activities for different age groups. For example, jewellery making using pasta or beads, a dress-up photo booth and we have even made animal masks and built towers.

We like to include story time, followed by bacon butties or healthy snacks, and plenty of good coffee and tea for Dads and soft drinks for the children. We invite small donations to cover costs.

Who Let The Dads Out? is run by ‘MenUnited,’ a Christian initiative made up of men from ten local churches. MenUnited have worked closely with the Local Authority Children’s Team at the Brightstart Children’s Centre to put on this great local provision.

Who Let The Dads Out? is different every time, but there is always a warm welcome – with soft play and sensory activities for babies and appropriate toys and activities for toddlers and children up to twelve years.

The next session is celebrating Father’s Day and will be this Saturday, 1st June between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. We look forward to seeing you and your kids if you can make it!
