Welton held their end-of-season Presentation Evening in the function room at the West Clewes clubhouse last Saturday, 4th May. Guest of honour was the Mayor of Midsomer Norton, Cllr Paul Myers.
The following awards were presented: John and Shavers Cup – Rhys Cook, Chris' Cup – John Carver, Paul Ingram's Cup – Greg Langridge, Club Sportsman of the Year was awarded to Shaver Sims and Tony Catley. First Team Awards: Manager's Player – Jack Metcalf, Players' Player – Dan Scrivens.
Supporters' Player awarded to Dan Scrivens, plus a bottle of champagne kindly donated by Sainsbury's of Midsomer Norton. Young Player was awarded to Ryan Gay. Top Goalscorer awarded jointly to Jack Metcalf and Paul Banks. Reserve Team Awards: Manager's Player – Matt Parsons, Players' Player – Matt Parsons. Clubman awarded jointly to Dale Groves and Barry Ingram. Young Player – Aaron Pritchard, Top Goalscorer – Rhys Cook. Youth Team Awards: Manager's Player – Anthony Coles, Players' Player – Rory Morgan, Clubman – Anthony Coles.
