Prattens’ Ladies played two Wild League games this week. In the first game away to Wells, Prattens won on one rink but lost on the other two and lost overall, 56 shots to 62, which gained us two League points.
Against Frome Selwood, there was a similar result, with Prattens winning on one rink, losing on two and losing overall by two shots, which also gained us two League points.
In the Mid-Somerset League, Prattens’ Men played Norwest. Prattens won on two rinks, lost on two and also won overall, which gained us twelve League points. In the Mixed Mid-Somerset League against Frome Park, Prattens lost on all three rinks.
In the coming week, a Mixed team from Prattens play the next round of the Tony Allcock Trophy at Home to Bath. Prattens’ Ladies have a friendly game away to Bloomfield (Bath), and Prattens’ Men have a Mid-Somerset League game at home to Fosseway.
If you would like to try bowls, why not come along to our Club night – Mondays from 6 p.m. Coaching can be arranged and bowls can be borrowed, so you just need to wear a pair of flat shoes.
