The court has been weeded and rolled, the boules dusted off, and we are raring to go.
On Tuesday, 12th April at 6 p.m., Norton Hill Recreation Ground, will once again ring to the cries of “Oh No”, “I didn’t mean to do that” and “Sacrè Bleu” (as we try out our French!) and equal cries of anguish.
Yes, Westfield Petanque Club is once again on the “piste”. The format remains the same, anyone and everyone is welcome, any age, any gender and any ability. There is no dress code, no fees and absolutely no sporting prowess required, just turn up at 6 p.m. and enjoy the game in a relaxed, fun atmosphere.
Boules will be played throughout the summer, every Tuesday at 6 p.m., there is no need to book, and all equipment is provided, so just turn up and enjoy. See you there!
Should you need and further information, please feel free to give me a ring on 01761 415155.
