At long last I’ve started to update the Norwest Bowls Club website! It’s a real slog doing it, and with so much else always going on, it’s one of those jobs which tends to get put on the back burner, but with the new season fast approaching, I thought I’d better knuckle down.
So take a minute and have a look: I’ve got most of the new season’s fixtures on and lots of lovely photos of the presentation evening. There’s still a bit to do, and if any of you would like to let me have any information or piccies that would be great – don’t forget, it’s your website too! Now, I’m calling on all budding artists and keen entomologists! On Saturday, 20th January at 7.30 p.m. for 8 p.m., we will be holding a Beetle Drive which should be tremendous fun – not that there will be a creepy crawly in sight, and the standard of art, I’m sure, will leave a lot to be desired, but there will be much hilarity and lots of banter.
We will have an American supper and there will be a draw – a great opportunity to get rid of some of those unwanted Christmas presents or leftover boxes of chocolates. So come on, there’s not much on the television these days, so make the effort and drag along your family and friends and chase away those winter blues.
