Last Saturday President Cilla Rich welcomed forty members and guests to Norwest’s annual dinner and presentations at the clubhouse.

The dinner this year was not the traditional three course meal, but was obtained from Whitstone’s Fish and Chips from Westfield, everyone chose from an extensive menu, the presentations were made before and after the meal. It was an informal evening which a lot of people seemed to enjoy.

Highlights of the presentations were for Arron and Sally who reached the finals of the County Mixed Pairs; also Chloe, who was substitute at the Amy Rose Trophy at Lemington. Bouquets were awarded to Lin Hill for all her hard work during the last couple of years, as well as Sue Young who refurbished all the chairs, made the blinds and curtains for the clubhouse. Awards were given to the Monday working party who maintained the club house, green and gardens.

Thanks to Nora and Brian Holmes for organising the awards from Trophies of Radstock and Paul for coordernating the meal. President Cilla thanked everyone for their help and for attending the evening.

The final event of the year is at the clubhouse for a Christmas get together, please come if you can on 11th December at 7.30 pm – a prize for the raffle would be much appreciated. Merv
