We are nearing the end of the league games now, so hopefully members will be able to get all the competitions up-to-date. All Semi-Finals must be completed by 9th September. Finals weekend is 16th/17th September.
The Men have not had any games this week, and only have a Frome Park Friendly away next week and Alexandra Park home in the last of the County League games.
The Ladies travelled to Isle of Wedmore on Tuesday, playing a Mid-Somerset League game and did well by winning overall, 49–37, claiming eight of the ten points. On Wednesday, the Ladies played at Congresbury in another Mid-Somerset League and lost overall by seven shots.
Lists for the Janet Norman Trophy Triples and Floodlit Cup will be on the board soon, so get your names down! Club night will be back to Monday next week. New members still welcome, even though there are not many weeks left in the season. AM
