The run of good results had a bit of a blip against Victoria Park Bath on Wednesday night at home, with the Purnell lads only managing a win on one rink.
But it was back to winning ways on the Saturday, losing on just one rink at home against Yatton and winning on total shots scored. Frome Park are the visitors this Saturday, also there is a one of the club’s National Two Rink teams away to Wilmott Park Bristol.
The green is in tip-top condition and running quite free for so early in the season, considering the amount of rain that has been dumped on it. Anyone who like to try bowls can just come along any night or ring: 01761 471019 to book a time and place to suit, everything supplied, only trainers needed. Membership is free to new bowlers for the first year and to bowlers who have not played for a club for at least two years.
