As usual the Subs evening saw lots of our members emerge from their winter hibernation all bright eyed, bushy tailed and ready for the coming season. So let’s see how willing you all are for our first ‘fixture’ of the season!
We will be holding our usual spring cleaning session on Wednesday, April 6th from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, so come along with your mops and buckets, I’m sure we will be able to find a job for you and you may even get a cup of coffee and a hot cross bun for your efforts.
Our next happening will be the Egg-stravaganza which is on Saturday, 2nd April, 7.30 p.m. for 8 p.m. when we will be enjoying the usual mix of games and quizzes. If you like an evening out but you’re not a mastermind, there’s no need to worry, it’s all very light hearted and who knows, you may get lucky and win one of the wooden spoons! There will be an American supper and raffle, so come along and join us, we’d love to see you. It’s teams of four, but we usually have some teams which need an extra member or two who’d welcome a bit more brain power!
