Pauline Dando, Jill Hanks and Chris Love won their County Triples Quarter-Final game against Bath Ladies Bowling Club, seventeen shots to seven and now play Yeovil in the Semi-Finals.

Prattens’ Ladies played local rivals, Paulton, in a Wild League game; Prattens won on all three rinks and overall to take a maximum twelve League points. Their second Wild League game of the week was conceded by Norwest, and so Prattens gained the regulatory nine League points.

In the Wedmore Plate against Chew Stoke, Prattens’ Men won on two rinks and lost on two, but lost overall by 60 shots to 78. Chew Stoke conceded the MSL game which should have taken place the following day; Prattens gained twelve League points.

A Mixed Mid-Somerset League game against Frome Park resulted in a narrow defeat for Prattens, 46 shots to 50, but having won on one rink, Prattens gain two League points.

Prattens’ run of success in the Tony Allcock Over-60 National Two Rink competition came to an end on Friday with defeat at Yeovil.
