What a start to the season at Camerton and Peasedown Croquet Club (CPCC) – our new club house is now open and our teams, as well as individual players have won their tournaments.

This year, the club welcomed many new members who are now taking part in all our club activities and are enjoying the fascinating sport of croquet. Some are even taking part in our High Handicap matches.

Our new club house is now up and running – we are already welcoming visiting teams who appreciate all the new facilities including a kitchen, two toilets and space to accommodate over seventy people. What a fantastic way to celebrate the club’s tenth anniversary.

So far all our teams have had some notable wins against Bradford on Avon, Lym Valley, Bristol, Weston super Mare and Glamorgan – but there have been times when we ‘came second!!’

Members are taking part in National Competitions including Lynne Wulcko and Phil Hendy who have reached the Area Finals of the All England Competition

Whilst the Club’s members come from a wide area, we are still part of our local community – the club gave many people a chance to try croquet at Peasedown’s own Party in the Park
