A successful campaign for the Midsomer Mavericks concluded last Sunday with the team finishing at the top of Division One. Selection decisions have sometimes been tricky with more players than places available, but looking forward, the club is in a strong position to begin hardball cricket.

Commitment from players on and off the pitch has been great. Despite not always being selected, members have shown great team spirit and a willingness to be involved, an attitude that should be encouraged in future seasons! Thanks to all players, umpires and scorers. Here’s to progressing, growing and developing players and numbers next season.
