The annual Farrington Park Ladies versus Seniors Four Ball Better Ball match was held on Tuesday, 18th November, with ten teams of two pairs competing for the coveted Matchplay Shield.
The Seniors have won the last six meetings, so the Ladies were very keen to make amends this year. This is always a keenly fought event and this year was no exception, demonstrated by some very close matches. After some matches going to the last and some good golf being played, once again, it was the Seniors who came away the victors by 7½–2½.
