After representing his country in Holland in 2014 for the World BMX Championships, Finlay Mead, a Year 9 student from Frome College, has been honoured to be asked to ride for one of England's top BMX teams, 'Stay Strong'. Determined to do his new team proud, he has started this year with a bang, taking the limelight on the BMX track for his fantastic riding and jumping skills.

The fourteen-year-old has been a role model and

inspiration to the younger generation teaching them new tricks, with an excellent attitude towards his fellow riders.

Finlay is currently ranked fourth in the UK for his age group after six rounds of the National Series. He recently took two fantastic third- place finishes in Scotland, so hopes to be on the podium by the end of the year.

He represents the South region, where he is currently ranked Number One and rides for the South Talent Team.

Finlay also looks forward to competing in the British Championships in Manchester at the end of the season, not only on his 20' Stay Strong BMX, but he will also ride a Curtis Cruiser. He is hoping to take home two podium trophies at this event.

Finlay is very honoured to be selected again to represent his country in the World Championships 2015 in Belgium. He trains hard to compete for a world plate and trophy and is looking forward to showing his skills off in front of the world's top riders
