Welton’s first win since their return to Premier League was a performance in the heat at West Clewes.

Ben Hughs ball found Dec Cornish in space by the Welton goal, but he scooped over the bar.

Matt Morris was had a quality tackle to deny Alex Murphy’s charge on goal.

Welton’s keeper made a save and just before half time Attwood parried the ball for Matty Morris to score his first ever goal for Welton.

Welton lost Battrick to injury. Welton got a second goal in the 65th minute. Sherborne pulled one back when Aaron White met a corner from the right and his bullet header flew into the Welton net.

Welton looked dangerous, man of the match Laraway, beat a challenge before delivering the ball to Allen, to score his second and Weltons third goal.

Matty Morris to had his shot into the net to score his first ever goal for Welton.

Welton had Will Hunter to thank when he cleared Murphy’s snap shot off the goal line. Welton lost Battrick to injury. Welton got a second goal in the 65th minute. Allen, who thumped the ball into the Sherborne net to score his second and Weltons third goal.
