FROME Town United Reserves gained only their second victory of the season when they beat Glastonbury Reserves 3-1 away in the first division of the Mid Somerset Football League in the latest round of matches.
However, Frome remain bottom of the table, a point behind the next placed side Haydon Sports.
Chew Magna Reserves moved up to fourth in the table after they won 2-0 at home to Peasedown Albion Reserves.
Writhlington United made sure of winning the second division title by beating lowly Frome Town United A 1-0 away to move ten points clear of second-placed Coleford Athletic Reserves who have a game in hand but cannot now catch their rivals.
In the Premier Division, second from bottom Evercreech Rovers were impressive 5-1 home winners over fourth placed High Littleton.
In the Clark Cup, Meadow Rangers won a penalty shootout 9-8 against Odd Down (Bath) Development following a 1-1 draw, after being 1-0 down at half time.
