Paulton Rovers U18’s 4 Frome Town 0
Paulton secured a league double over Frome winning comfortably against a side slowly rebuilding after a poor start.
Rovers went ahead on twelve minutes as a right wing corner from Lucas Schwalbe-Goodwin was headed home by Joe Paradise.
Joe Beaverstock, making his debut in the Frome goal pulled off a string of fine saves, but on twenty-eight minutes he was beaten as Tom Ovigne headed home Paulton Captain, Harrison Newman’s free-kick.
Rovers were on top for most of the second half and did not add to their tally until the seventy-fourth minute until a fine solo run and shot from Will Ford made it 3–0.
Paulton keeper Joel Perry had little to do until he was called upon to make saves from Frome Captain Gabriel Perry then Kieran Carpenter.
In the minute Ovigne broke down the left to cut inside and fire home for his second to make it 4–0.
