A gathering of legends took place at Tunley Athletic FC as players came together on Sunday, 25th July to support their old club.

Many have not put their boots on for many years but they dusted them off to compete against one another on a fine afternoon at the recreation centre’s ground.

Old friendships were renewed but this did not deter the players for battling it out for a 4–4 draw. A big thank you to everyone for a great turn out on the field and a fantastic number of supporters cheering them on.

The afternoon finished with Dads and Granddads playing against their sons, daughters and grandchildren. Great fun was had by all.

Many thanks to Dean Wheatley for refereeing and all those who donated prizes for the raffle. So many people helped get this event off the ground, they know who they are – you are all fabulous.
