In the Somerset Junior Cup, the League have only one team left in, after Westfield Res lost on penalties away to Wagtail Athletic, and Westhill Sports lost at home to Bridgwater Sports, 4-1.

Frome Collegians at home, after being 1-0 down at half-time, made changes for the second half which worked a treat, with the final score 5-1 to the home team. Getting the goals were Theo Sing (2), Lee Handford, Adam Lock and Barry Sandquest.

The Premier Division saw Peasedown Albion go to the top after their 5-2 home win against Victoria, with Rico Sobers (3) and Dan Hucker (2) netting the goals. Coleford at home against bottom team, Radstock A, had a real scare, as Dan Reynolds smashed home a free-kick late in the game to secure the 2-1 result, with Mac Fisher getting the other goal. Purnell Sports have gone off the boil, losing at home again, this time to Bath Villa, 3-2.

The top two in Division One both won. Peasedown Albion Res won away at Chilcompton Res, 5-0. Amongst the goals were Jordon Turvey, Henry Steeds, Tom Pelesz, Haydon Campbell and Harrison Nash, while High Littleton beat Clutton Res, 4-3. Wells A move up to third with a 3-1 home win against Chew Magna Res, and Somer Valley scored four at home but still couldn’t bag the points, losing 4-5 to Evercreech – the home scorers were Chris Spurry (2), Tim Hooper and Kieran Tate.

Wessex go marching on at the top of Division Two, winning at home against Stoke Rovers, 3-1. Getting the goals were Dan Linham (2) and Richards. Weston Bath move up to second place, beating Timsbury A 8-1 at home. Saltford at home – with goals from Sam Speed (2), Archie Roach, Dan Baber, Andy May and Tom Baker – beat Westhill Sports Res, 6-2, and Coleford Res away to Glastonbury Res took all three points; Dan Willis netting in the last two minutes to win 3-2 with Adam Cray getting the other two goals.

Pilton Res stay top of the Third Division on goal difference after their 1-1 draw at home with second-place Peasedown Albion A. Chris Preston got the goal for the visitors, with Albion missing a penalty near the end. There was a shock for third-place Frome Collegians Res away to Evercreech Res, losing 2-1, and Chilcompton A secured a point in the last few minutes, with Jake Curtis being clattered in the box for a definite penalty – Lucas Hawkins scored from the spot-kick.
