Paulton Rovers are on the look-out for new management after the resignation of Richard Fey and Nathan Rudge this week. The pair joined the team back in May, after being sought out for the positions. Fey was the manager of Bridgwater Town and Rudge manager at Chippenham Town, taking up the manager and assistant manager posts at Paulton.

With no wins in fourteen matches, Fey’s last game in charge was on Tuesday evening, where Rovers lost 2-1 to Merthyr Town, with the side also losing to Slough Town, 2-1 on Saturday. Richard Fey stepped into the shoes of Nick Bunyard nearly five months ago, however, Bunyard’s departure also saw other players follow, and the side this season has been dogged with injury, lying firmly at the bottom of the table.

Coach Aaron Brown has taken on training this week for the team and will be the caretaker manager for Saturday’s game at home to second-placed Leamington, kick-off is at 3 p.m.

In a statement on its website, Paulton Rovers said: "The club would like to express their thanks for the hard work that both Richard and Nathan have done this season and wish them every success in the future."
