This past Friday, Welton Rovers celebrated the season of their three teams with the annual end of season prize-giving. Players, family and supporters joined together at West Clewes to recognise the achievements of the club’s outstanding performers and contributors.
Though Welton Rovers, their Reserve side and Under-18s all achieved mid-table finishes, there were notable milestones throughout, not least a momentous Somerset Premier Cup victory over National League South side, Bath City, and with the Under-18 side achieving their best ever FA Youth Cup run, and defeating Paulton Rovers for the Bert West trophy.
