All good things must come to an end and so it did on Saturday, when Welton Rovers Reserves surrendered their unbeaten run, which stretched all the way back to the start of the season, when they were beaten 2–0 away to third placed Middlezoy Rovers Reserves.
The team can be proud of their efforts this season and can bounce back this Wednesday, 5th February when they are Away to Fry’s Club and on Saturday, when they entertain Ashton and Blackwell Reserves at West Clewes, kick-off at 3 p.m.
Welton Rovers’ First Team were without a game on Saturday and now face a difficult away trip to high-flying Longwell Green Sports this Saturday, 8th February without key players, Tom Smith and Joe Garland, who are both suspended. Kick off is at 3 p.m. After this, Welton
entertain Sherborne Town at West Clewes on Tuesday, 11th February, kick-off at 7.30 p.m.
