PAULTON Rovers will be looking to step up the pressure at the top of the Premier Division in the Jewson Western League when they play at home to lowly Brislington on Tuesday night (Mar 3, 7.30p.m.).
Rovers, who were without a match over the weekend, are lying third in the table, ten points behind leaders Clevedon Town but with three crucial games in hand.
Brislington, who also had a blank Saturday, are in17th spot with only three wins from 22 matches.
Paulton have a much tougher game on Saturday, March 7, when they entertain championship favourites Torpoint Athletic who have lost only two league matches this season. They are two points behind Clevedon with three matches in hand.
Clevedon also play on Tuesday night - away to Oldland Abbotonians.
Meanwhile, Welton Rovers will be looking to maintain their improved form in the first division when they play at home to leaders Devizes Town who have been beaten only twice this season (7.30p.m.).
Welton gained a splendid 3-2 home win over Longwell Green Sports on Saturday to move out of the relegation zone.
