Captain’s Day was quite a turnout for this closing match of the season, which sadly will also be the last in a run of thirty six years.
In a reversal of the result of the President’s Day at the opening of the season, the President’s team beat the Captain’s team - so all square! The game was followed by a two course meal, which was enjoyed by all the players plus guests. The Captain, Douglas Ball, presented the winning rinks with bottles of wine and went on to thank various members for their help and work throughout the season.
