Paulton entertained Cambridgeshire side, St Neots Town, at home in a hard-fought draw that ended scoreless.

Despite the lack of goals, this was a competitive match, which could have gone either way. Kyle Phillips brought a fine save from striker, Nathan Frater, as St Neots pressed, only for Rovers to respond with shots from Jon Davies and Dean Evans which were well held by veteran keeper, Paul Bastock.

Frater headed over and then saw his next chance deflected for a corner. Paulton built well in midfield and Ashley Williams nearly found Scott Wilson, whilst Adam Tann headed wide for the visitors. Nathan Frater received a straight red card for leading with his elbow into Rovers' left back, Sam Teale.

The Saints defended in numbers as Davies and Brandon Barnes attacked down the wings. Bastock was on hand to prevent Paulton from gaining the upper hand. Tann hit the foot of the post with what appeared a mishit drive with Phillips beaten. Ryan Frater made a last-ditch tackle to stop Wilson and the Rovers Captain, Scott Brice, marshalled his defence as St Neots went through their best passage, with Drew Roberts and substiture, Theo Davis, seeing chances held by Phillips.

Barnes hit a free kick over the bar, but Roberts and substitute, Ben Mackey, both should have done better as they sought to snatch all three points for the long trip home.
