Two of the latest recruits in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club held sway in the Turkey Trot competition which is a Texas Scramble Pairs strokeplay event.

Chris Appleton followed up his success in the Broadway and Smith Cup by joining up with Richard Dancey to win the Turkey Trot with a nett 59. Two committee members, Alan Jones and Howard Nowell were second with a nett 61 with Alan White and George Thurston third with 63.

Countback was necessary to decide the winner of the November Medal. Allen Cheney and Gerry Rowell both recorded nett scores of 60, but Rowell had to be content with second place. One shot behind in third place came Terry Button. Malcolm Tucker
