Thankfully the month of March has come and gone and not before time. The wettest March recorded since 1981. However, April is upon us and bringing with it welcome sunshine. Lets hope for a long warm summer.

Seventy six senior men took part in the annual playing of the Bill Sims Trophy with the course in great shape and the greens in particular in excellent condition.

Well done to the hard working greenkeeping staff.

Winning the trophy for the first time was Mike Mahoney with an excellent 41 points. He is pictured below receiving the trophy from Bill’s widow Sally.
