A Captains’ Quiz Night was held recently at Farrington Park in aid of Dorothy House, this year’s chosen charity of the Men’s and Ladies’ Sections.
Sixteen teams enjoyed the evening hosted by Quizmaster, Alan ‘Paxman’ Fussel. A wide range of questions on various topics tested all the teams’ abilities. There were prizes galore in the raffle, which was very well supported.
Special thanks are due to the hard-working quiz supporters, Jackson Carey, Chris Liberty, Gary Padfield and Mary Fussel, for their efforts marking and checking the answer sheets,
selling raffle tickets and stewarding the quiz teams.
The winning team was Midsomer Norton Cricket Club ‘Youth’ with a score of 82 points. At the end of the evening, Men’s Captain, Gary Prater, was pleased to announce that £784 had been raised for Dorothy House.
