Where are the bunkers? Where is the green? Where is the flag!?
All guesswork for the early starters, who were met by a blanket of fog that did not disperse until midday. At times it was difficult to believe that anyone else was on the course except you and your two playing partners, with visibility down to less than 120 yards! But we persevered, and managed to find our way back to the clubhouse for a well-earned coffee – or something a wee bit stronger! Well done to those who finished their round.
Topping Division One was Ham Ridene with 39. The winner of Division Two was Keith Shepherd with 40, while Mike Mahoney won Division Three with 37. Nearest the Pins were Andy Snook (5th), Tony Quinn (8th), Phil Thompson (14th) and Colin Glibbery (15th).
