Farrington Park Seniors were in fine form for the monthly qualifying stableford competition. Points were in abundance – something that was sadly lacking from the England World Cup Rugby team.
Bob Baker top scored on the day with an impressive 44 points and earned a cut of three strokes for his trouble!
Farrington legend, Gerald ‘White Tees’ Shearn, wowed the crowds with an excellent round of 39 points. Twelve handicapper, Dave Metcalfe, won Division One with 36 points. The last home friendly of the season will be against Frome Golf Club. The club has been sold for farming purposes and we wish all former members of the club well for the future.
Results – Division 1: Dave Metcalfe, 36 points, Rob Thain, 34 points, Leo Seddon, 34 points, John Ward, 34 points.
