On a day where the weather was as changeable as Boris’ decision-making, it was like a dress rehearsal for The Full Monty; waterproofs on, waterproofs off, umbrellas up, umbrellas down.

Seventy-five senior golfers took part in this qualifying Stableford off the green tees. New member, Kevin Brimble, had never played off the greens before but thoroughly enjoyed his ‘blooding’ with the Seniors and came in with a respectable 38 points.

Former Seniors’ Captain, Rick Clark, had the best round on a day when scoring was not particularly high. His 41 points was enough to win Division One with Phil Button a couple of points behind on 39. In Division Two, the notorious Andy Smart won with 40 points with the equally renowned Rob Rogers on 38. Martin Stevens and Colin Hawkins won Division Three with 41 and 37 points respectively. No dirt on either of them at the moment!
