Martyn Cuer and Graham Edgell took the honours in the seasonal Turkey Trot in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club winning the event with a nett score of sixty one.

Just one shot behind came the pairings of Howard Nowell and Phil Moody and Mike Weeks and Nick Foxwell. Nowell and Moody claimed second place on countback.

Trying conditions tested everyone’s patience for the monthly medal event with the rapid fall of leaves making ball finding a work of art.

Pat Cray defied the elements best of all to win the competition with a nett score of sixty five. Just one shot behind came Cyril Blacker with Chris Appleton third with a nett score of sixty seven.

Assistant green keeper Kev Gill is off work at present and all the seniors wish him a speedy recovery and look forward to him being back in action on the course in the not too distant future.
