A TOTAL of 107 competed in Mendip Golf Club’s Sims Cup. While the fairways are very fast running giving a great advantage to those keeping the ball straight, nevertheless scoring on the whole remains high with shots only just off line being heavily penalized.

Div 3 went to Andy Neeve with 67 after count back from Mario Rolli with Martyn Russell 3rd with 72 after count back. Div 2 was won by Steve Coate with 67, Selwyn Rees was 2nd with 70 after count back from Nigel Brokenshire and Russell Watts.
