Despite the horrendous weather of late, the Seniors’ section of Fosseway Golf Club have managed to fit in two of their latest

competitions.

The first of these was the February Medal, with success for the second month running for Malcolm Tucker, who recorded an identical nett score of 59. Nick Foxwell also came in with a 59, but was beaten on countback. Bill Lester was third with a nett 62.

There was also a close finish to the Bill Lester Pairs Texas Scramble, with Howard Nowell and Mike Ricketts leading the field with a nett 58. One shot behind came Harold Lidbitter and Mike Weeks, with Gerry Rowell and Richard Sullivan, the most recent member to join the Seniors’ section, third, with a nett 60. Malcolm Tucker
