Mike Ricketts paired up with Medal Secretary, Pete Fitch, to win the Committee Cup in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club.
In the Greensomes Pairs competition, their nett total of sixty saw them finish two shots clear of Vice-Captain, Martyn Cuer and his partner, Alan Jones. Cyril Blacker and Barry Dugmore were a further shot back in third place.
Jones, who is in his first year with the Seniors, then went one better in the Roger Tabb Cup, partnering Captain, Gerry Rowell, to success, with a nett score of 69. One shot behind were Phil Moody and Graham Edgell, with Henry Thomas and Malcolm Tucker third, with a nett score of 71. Roger Tabb’s widow, Sybil, came along to present the prestigious cup to Jones and Rowell.
