The Christmas Shotgun Competition was a great success, with a full field taking part, despite the inclement weather. A bowmaker was played on 90% handicap, started when George Davis fired his shotgun.
In first place, with an amazing ninety points was the team of Adam Payne, David Cunningham, Steve Guy and Aidan Guy. Seemingly, Steve Guy played the game of his life with some incredible drives, even outdriving his son!
In second place were Jamie Marklew, Allan Thompson, Mike Cundill and John Hurley with 87 points. There were ten two-spots, including father and son, Julian and Will Thompson.
In the indoor league, played in the simulator during the winter months, Paul Cullen is leading the way. Nine holes are played on a variety of courses in a Stableford format, and Len Willis is closing the gap on Cullen.
